Community Climate Action Day in McLaren Park on June 7

Join California Volunteers and community partners for their Community Climate Action Day in San Francisco on Saturday, June 7 at Jerry Garcia Amphitheater (45 John F. Shelley Drive) in McLaren Park. From 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., volunteers will take part in hands-on projects such as planting and removing invasive species to help restore and enhance one of the city’s key green spaces. Following the service activities, a community resource fair will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and will feature local organizations focused on climate change, sustainability, and civic engagement.
